It’s a new year. I’ve never been one for “resolutions”, but I am one for “reminders”. I prioritize my lists, live by my calendar, and I confess – I’m one of these people that doesn’t get it done if it doesn’t wind up in my task list. BUT, I know the importance of my task lists and various tools, and use them to my advantage.
That being said, a good friend of mine pointed me to a wonderful website: http://www.wordle.net/
This site lets you create artwork, or, “word clouds”, from your blog (if it has an ATOM or RSS feed), or you can manually enter text and create your own Wordle. The more frequent you use a word, the larger it appears. If you want to string a phrase, put a tilde (~) between the words.
My Wordle for 2012:
I’ve set this as my wallpaper on my desktop. It’s my daily reminder of the things that are important to me. I’ve had fun with Wordle and I can’t thank my friend enough for sharing this site. Now I’m sharing it with all of you. Have fun!
